WASA TO MARK 36th SEASON

WITH 10 CITY TOUR STOPS IN 2007

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Marking the start of its 36th year, nine months of tournament competition is once again offered to all skilled and competitive women bowlers by the Women’s All-Star Association (WASA).

Leisure Lanes in Lancaster, PA and Blue Ball Lanes in Blue Ball, PA kick off the season as they host back-to back events over the weekend of April 14-15.  Weekend competition is sponsored by the Men’s and Women’s Lancaster Bowling Association, Myers’ Auto Body and Innovative Bowling Products.

As a grand finale scheduled in December, the “Storm-WASA Tournament of Champions” will again be sponsored by Bill Chrisman, CEO of Storm Products and hosted by Mr. Neil Feingold, Proprietor of Howell Lanes in Howell, NJ.

Between these dates, monthly tournaments also offer scratch senior competition (50+) and a classified

division, for ladies averaging less than 194.  Supporting the organization for many years, these events are sponsored by Ebonite, Brunswick,

Roto Grip and Gebhardt Bowling Supply.

WASA membership is open to all USBC sanctioned women bowlers who have an established minimum average of 170.  To obtain additional information and a  copy of the complete tournament schedule, log on to WASA’s website, wasabowling.com, or contact Sharon Nasta, Executive Director, at (732)367-0257.
